I first became interested in Pilates after suffering with back pain following the birth of my third child and having discovered the benefits for myself became trained in Pilates. I am qualified to Advanced Level 3 in Matwork Pilates and taught classes at Champneys in Tring as well as using the Pilates principles to back up my work as a Personal Trainer. I ran a highly successful Pilates studio in Ashley Green in Bucks before relocating to Padstow in Cornwall. I also attend Master Classes to further enhance my knowledge and broaden my Pilates skillbase. I find the infinite variety of exercises based on the original principles of Pilates makes it suitable for all sizes, ages and abilities. To this end I have taken some specialist qualifications, including qualifying as a Pink Ribbon post operative Breast Cancer rehabilitation instructor as I have found Pilates to be of particular benefit to those recovering from Breast Cancer, both in a mental and physical sense and Pilates for Common Orthopaedic conditions such as back & shoulder pain, Arthritis & Osteoporosis.

I am passionate about the benefits of Pilates and welcome the challenge of helping my clients achieve their goals whether it is merely increasing fitness and flexibility or getting over an injury.
